In 2024, the Skating Club of San Giorgio delle Pertiche had the honor of hosting the prestigious Italian Track Skating Championships - A/J/S Category. In preparation for this major event, a comprehensive relamping project was undertaken to completely transform the venue's lighting system, with the goal of ensuring optimal conditions for athletes, coaches, and spectators alike.
The new lighting system, built with advanced LED technology using Petrarca floodlights, was designed to deliver over 300 average lux- a critical requirement for high-level competitions such as the ones held in 2024.
Additionally, all installed floodlights feature asymmetric optics and comply with the regional legislation on light pollution, ensuring full certification.
A distinctive feature of our products is the use of metal reflectors that maintain their reflective efficiency over time, thanks to a patented system with optics coated in treated silver. This sets them apart from most competitors, who use plastic lenses that are prone to yellowing due to heat and aging.
