Located next to the Capo d'Orlando tunnel, the Tindari tunnel can be considered its twin sister. Located along the A20 motorway, this time in the Palermo-Messina direction, it has very similar characteristics to the previous one.
Here too, Arianna's intervention consisted in restoring the permanent and reinforcement lighting systems, replacing the old system with new LED fixtures.
This intervention is also aimed at upgrading the motorway section, combining energy saving with high performance, but above all making driving more comfortable for those passing through.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
The Tindari tunnel consists of two one-way tubes with a length of 2136 m.
The luminaires are installed in a central position and the reinforcement system runs for a length of approximately 750 m from the tunnel entrance and uses LED luminaires with counter-flush (for the first 250 m) and symmetrical (in the last 500 m) optics, with a nominal power varying between 305 W and 90 W. A total of 96 Teseo and 63 Snell luminaires are used.
The permanent installation, on the other hand, runs the entire length of the tunnel and employs 142 Snell, LED luminaires with symmetrical optics and a nominal wattage of 90 W.
